Anyone Still Wearing a Mask is an Idiot

August 14, 2021 - 2 minute read

We're on 500+ days of "two weeks to slow the spread." Anyone still wearing a mask at this point is an idiot, and here's why.

If you're still wearing a mask you're in one of three groups of people:

  1. Got the shot.
  2. Didn't get the shot.
  3. Didn't get the shot but already had the virus.

(And no I won't call it a vaccine because it's not one. Fight me.)

Here's why each one of those groups is an idiot for still wearing a mask.

Got the Shot Idiots

This is the most obvious one. If you have such faith in the shot to save you from the harm of the virus, then you shouldn't need to wear a mask at all. The whole point of getting the shot is supposedly to eliminate the risk posed by the virus, should you contract it.

And don't give me that crap about protecting people that haven't gotten it yet. At this point, the shot has been widely available for months. Anyone who hasn't gotten the shot isn't doing it due to scarcity, it's a choice.

You're not protecting anyone, you just look like a dummy who would walk off a bridge if the CDC recommended it.

No Shot Idiots

If you fall into this camp then you are a strange one indeed. You're both afraid of the virus enough to wear a mask, but also not trusting of the government enough to get the shot.

As mentioned in the section above, the shot is widely available, and has been for some time. If you were going to get it, you would have done so by now.

The only conclusion here is that you're an idiot.

No Shot Natural Immunity Idiots

Being in this camp is the worst of all the other categories, because it's completely in-excusable. If you've already had the virus, you have better immunity from it than the shot is supposed to provide, and yet you're still walking around as if one breath of fresh air will kill you.

Conclusion

It's time to stop living in fear, take off the mask and be the children of God we are called to be.

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline."~ 2 Timothy 1:7 (NLT)
